Helping British Nationals working abroad

We had a customer who was a British national currently working abroad as a farmer in Brazil. He currently already owns existing properties In the UK. This rental income along with his wages totalled to £51,000 per annum. The lender we worked with also allowed him to have his EU national wife allowed on the application.

What was the customer looking to do:

Purchase an additional Buy to Let property
Property price - £180,000.
Customers deposit: £72,000 (40%)

What was achieved?

The customer was accepted through one of our specialist lenders, being offered either a repayment or full interest only mortgage. The customer was offered a discounted rate up to the 60% Loan to value requested.

First UK Buy to Let purchase

Our customer currently living in Australia has no property in the UK and their last property held was in 2012 where they sold it and cleared the existing mortgage. The customer is employed earning per annum £91,000.

What was the customer looking to do?

The customer wanted to buy a property in the UK to let for 2 years. Then move to the UK, then remortgage the property and live in it.
Property value: £400,000
Customers deposit: £140,000 (35%)

What was achieved?

Our client was offered a 2 year fixed rate on an interest only basis up to the 65% loan to value of the property with a lender arrangement fee of 2.5% from the loan amount

Lending outside traditional countries

Our customer is employed and working in an internally recognised company within the UAE (United Arab Emirates). Currently earning £75,000 per annum looking to purchase Buy to Let in the UK.

What did the client want to do:

Buy UK property without an intentions of living in it, only for investment.
Property Value: £200,000
Customers deposit: £50,000 (25%)

What was achieved for the customer?

The client was offered a choice between 3 year fixed rate or 5 year fixed rate over 25 years on an interest only basis for the 75% loan to value and with no lender arrangement fee.
